So I am home from work today because I had to take my car to the shop. I hate when my car has problems since I know nothing about them. Anyway, I'm not sure exactly what it is yet, but I know it has something to do with the crank. I guess it could be pretty bad. I am very fortunate because so many people have been so helpful. I hate imposing on people, but it is great to know I have such great friends. Monday and Tuesday I had to get a ride to and from work. :( On the plus side of that, I found out that one of my coworkers lives just around the corner; that could be helpful in the future as well. Hopefully, the problem with my car won't be as bad as it sounds and I'll be able to drive it again soon.

I remember my first car incident when I was on my own living 3 states away I called my brother who always took care of my car issues. He told me how to get the battery out, and after much much convincing that there was NO other options, he got me to carry it and walk to the nearest Les Schwab (about 3 miles each way... this was horrifying to me, I never walked anywhere) to have it checked and I ended up having to buy a new battery and install it myself. I was mortified I would have to do this by myself. But pretty pleased when I accomplished it on my own (kind of, he really had to hold my hand over the phone... poor guy).
Sometimes we have to rely on those who know more than us... but be sure and get educated about it along the way, in case it ever happens again. You'll do fine!

Hey Brit! Love the new design. Hope you are having a good day, mine is going so so but I am looking forward to getting off work and making Gingerbread Houses. It should be fun.
